#112-Keeping Your Focus Out on the Court

Focus will ebb and flow when you play pickleball. It is the most natural of things.

But there are things you can do to improve your focus, particularly in those crucial moments: the pivot points of a game.

In this episode we give you several tips you can use to improve your focus – while giving you the proper framing: focus will come and focus will go. It is part of any athlete’s experience.

In the riff, we talk about an 11-9 game vs an 11-6 or even 11-3 game. They may feel the same, but are they? Proper perspective can help you better appreciate your efforts (as well as those of your opponents) out on the courts. Let us know if it works for you!

    Tony;

    Yet again, another bit of wonderful advice from you. I just gobble this stuff up. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    I recently told my brother, who is an entry level to lower/mid-level Pickleball instructor, about your videos. He was so impressed, that he is now recommending your videos as “homework” to his students.

    Please keep up the good work.
