Learn how to use the drop serve to up your game

Serve according to where you are in the game. Begin your progression with a sound serve technique that is consistent and deep in the serve box. Serve to one spot only. Add different serves into your repertoire as you progress

If you have the service yips: 👉 use the bounce serve to get your rhythm back 👉 take your time and do not rush the serve 👉4 balls towards the target (middle of the serve box)

If you are ready, learn to add the lob serve into your game. Even as a defensive shot, it will change the pace of the serve and give your opponents something different to think about.

Hola. My name is Tony. I’m a former tennis player – 40+ years and a Senior Pro player. But more importantly, I’m an IPTPA Certified Master Professional. I’m focused on helping players see what I see and to know the game the way I know the game. In 2016, shortly after learning pickleball, I played with my friend Tom in the Open division at the first US Open in Naples, Florida. That morning we learned just how complicated the game can be and how far we still had to go. Since then, I have been on a quest to learn everything; figure out each angle to this sport. Then to pass it down to others so they can enjoy the game and achieve the level they desire. When not thinking about or studying pickleball, I like to travel with my wife Jill, especially if it's in Matilda (our RV).
